Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. Alongside being a part of his Road Trip role, he was also a part of The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. The actor has also been featured in over 22 TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma and diagnosed with at age 14 Qualls is a fighter. The cancer had gone into remission after 2 years. Being treated at such a young age had an adverse effect on his body. This impeded his growth. As he was raised in the poverty of his home, he longed to be financially secure. After living so modestly over the years I need this financial security. Otherwise the world seems out of my control. He also looks back at his youth and hopes to address the problem of bullying. The cruelty he experiences breaks his heart. His ideal role in film as well as in real life is that of father. Yet he confesses "Directors don't cast my in those roles." He'd like to have a child so that he could devote much less of his time to more attention to the child.
